  3. <hi style=afpcap>The Air National Guard is anything but a bunch of "weekend warriors:" its airmen are integral to all US military operations and warfighting plans. These F-16A ADF (Air Defense Fighter) Fighting Falcons of the 134th Fighter Squadron, 158th Fighter Group, Vermont Air National Guard "Green Mountain Boys," were replaced in 1995 by newer F-16C models but typify the role of the Guard in providing front-line combat expertise and capability.</hi>
